Sulaimani

One evening in Paris, two Indian women from Kerala, strangers to each other, find themselves in the Indian restaurant "Sulaimani." Seated a few meters apart, they observe one another, intrigued.

In this miniature Kerala that is the restaurant, the smells, the flavors, the music, the language—everything evokes the India of their past. Each revisits her journey of displacement and emancipation during this symbolic voyage filled with bittersweet memories.
